Panama City Beach, FL-based artist Wes Rolan is a multifaceted creative force—DJ, filmmaker, and photographer—bringing over two decades of artistry and experience to every project.

Wes began his DJ journey in 1996, drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of Florida’s Panhandle. A year later, he moved to Gainesville, a hub for dance music in the late 90s, where he immersed himself in the sounds of iconic DJs like Ray Coker, Chang, and Jask. His passion and talent quickly earned him residencies in the city’s legendary scene, including at Lush, Full Circle and Soaco. Wes also played at the SoulHouse, a venue that once stood as a global destination for dance music.

Since those formative years, Wes has performed across Florida and nationwide, lighting up major cities like Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York. Known for his party-driven sets, Wes seamlessly blends deep house, modern Afro-House, and intense vibes creating music for the soul and the dancefloor. His signature style features bass-heavy, sensual tracks that captivate dancers, and his original productions have earned him recognition on labels such as The Seed Music and 7 Love Records, with standout releases like "I Still Get Up." Wes Rolan is also the founder and label-boss of SoulPurpose Records.

In addition to his musical career, Wes is an accomplished filmmaker and photographer. His recent short documentary, Vigilante Town, showcases his passion for storytelling, weaving compelling narratives with a keen eye for detail. Whether crafting visuals on the ground or capturing stunning aerial footage with his FAA Part 107 drone certification, Wes delivers cinematic experiences that resonate with authenticity and artistry. Wes is also the Director and Producer of a Youtube Channel called Forgotten Florida, that focuses on telling unique and obsucre stories from Florida’s past.
